NCA Kindergarten
We are utterly dedicated to your child's academic, social, emotional, and physical development. We assist in boosting their self-esteem and guiding them in a constructive manner as distinctive individuals with admirable morals. Children from many cultures and backgrounds are respected and celebrated at NCA, and we promote respect for one another. Giving back to the less fortunate is another aspect of our educational approach, and we urge the kids to do so whenever practical.
They have an impact on school operations on a daily basis and inspire our kids to try out novel concepts. To ensure that our objectives are achieved, a range of instructional methodologies and the most recent ICT equipment are used.
Happy, sensitive, disciplined children will transfer from NCA Prep (often at the age of 11+) to our Middle School with a foundation and lifelong friendships since self-confidence and self-esteem are developed from the beginning. Learning becomes collaborative, rich, and negotiated, weaving a rich fabric of stimulation and evaluation, as delivered by our team of highly qualified, experienced, and motivated teachers employing novel styles, techniques, and resources.
Activities Children are encouraged to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities all year long, including chess, football, netball, basketball, rounders, cricket, athletics, swimming, and music and drama.
The inter-house competitions increase the kids' sense of team loyalty. English, math, science, geography, history, french, kiswahili, music, art & design, ICT, PE, and swimming are among the subjects available.
Our approach and curriculum Students at the junior secondary range in age from 11 to 14. Every youngster is given the care they need to achieve their unique objectives and aspirations. Through differentiation and the student-centered approach, we provide our kids the chance to study at their own speed. At the conclusion of the ninth year, IGCSE subject choices are made.
We attempt to; 1. to promote curiosity and self-directed learning. 2. to incorporate ICT into routine learning. 3. to encourage critical thought 4. to instill moral values in kids in order to help them develop a solid character 5. to prepare students for the opportunities, experiences, challenges, and challenges of adult life. 6. to inspire and test each student.
Calendar of Events for 2023 Junior Secondary instructors successfully adapt their curriculum to facilitate exceptional student progress through frequent formative and summative assessments.
